School of Well-being and Sustainability

A Legacy Initiative from The Well-being & Sustainability Summit

Overview

The School of Well-being and Sustainability is a capacity-building and knowledge-development initiative inspired by the vision of The Well-being & Sustainability Summit. It aims to provide organizations, professionals, and community actors with the tools, mindsets, and methodologies needed to embed well-being and sustainability into business culture, public policy, and social development.

The school bridges the gap between the private sector's role in internal well-being and its broader responsibility to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will offer applied learning, strategic consulting, and collaborative programs for those committed to long-term impact across corporate and community settings.

Strategic Goals

  • Mainstream Well-being as a Core Business Value: Equip organizations to treat employee and community well-being as a foundation for resilience, productivity, and purpose.
  • Advance the Implementation of SDGs through Corporate Culture: Support companies in aligning internal practices and external initiatives with the SDGs, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption).
  • Foster Inclusive and Sustainable Development through Education: Build capacity in HR teams, managers, community actors, and entrepreneurs to champion well-being and sustainability in their environments.
  • Bridge the Gap Between CSR and Social Impact: Translate CSR efforts into measurable outcomes that improve quality of life for communities, especially underserved or vulnerable groups.
  • Position Egypt and the Region as Leaders in Human-Centered Sustainability: Serve as a regional model for integrating well-being into national development conversations, private sector strategies, and public service innovation.
